Flap-style bags have the additional advantaged of being easier to load, after which the flap can be folded over and secured with a bit of tape for added dust protection on the open end. The transparency of polyethylene decreases with an increase of mil thickness. Accordingly, 2- and 3-mill thick material strikes an excellent compromise between product strength and clarity.
